Suck On A Baguette France!

I had to flip the Olympics on tonight to watch the much anticipated men's 400 freestyle relay. Earlier in the week French swimmer Alain Bernard guaranteed that France would SMASH the Americans. Saying:
"The 100 meters favorite, it's me,"
"If I didn't believe I was, I wouldn't be here at all."
"I've always said that 10 to 15 swimmers could be on the podium. But physically, I'm on top. I'm fitter than I was at the French championships, fitter than I was at the European championships."
"The Americans? We're going to smash them. That's what we came here for,"
"I'll start my Games in the 4x100 meters freestyle relay final, confident that my pals will have qualified easily."
"If the relay goes according to plans, than we'll be on a roll."
...Bernard said.
On a roll? More like a baguette, Frenchy.
If you didn't get a chance to see the match, the U.S. pulled out an amazing upset against France. U.S. swimmer, Jason Lezak, the oldest man on the U.S. swimming team, pulled off one of the great comebacks in Olympic history. Lezak hit the wall just ahead of Bernard in the closing seconds of the 400 freestyle relay, a race so fast it actually erased two world records.

When asked to respond to tonight's amazing upset,
the American team had just one thing to say to France:
Give a squirrel a nut :)
